Deaf/Hard of Hearing Independent Living Services-AdLib provides independent living services to deaf and hard of hearing consumers. Our program includes peer counseling, skills training, individual advocacy,
information and referral, consumer outreach, and community outreach & education.

MRC Vocational Referral Program - The Mass. Rehabilitation Commission refers eligible vocational clients for specific independent living services. Services
include: Peer Counseling, Information and Referral, Skills Training and Advocacy.

Representative Payee Program - AdLib acts as a third party representative payee to assist people in managing their money and meeting their basic living
needs. We assist with social security and advocate and counsel on financial matters.

ADA Technical Assistance - AdLib is an educational resource for all individuals and the community on issues concerning disabilities and the law.
AdLib can provide materials, information, accessibility studies and presentations on ADA.

Housing - AdLib is an information, referral and advocacy source on affordable housing for the Berkshire County area. AdLib is also a host agency for
"Mass Access" - the computer housing registry for Massachusetts.

Personal Assistance Services - The Personal Assistance Program offers in-home assistance and skills training for those who need help in managing their daily living. The consumer is empowered,
through the Division of Medical Assistance (Medicaid), to employ his/her own Personal Care Attendants to assist in such chores as bathing, dressing, and
Meal preparation.

Drop-In Center - The "Our Place" Drop-In Center is a social recreational center open to people with any disability during the following times: Weekdays from 5PM to 9PM,
weekends from 1PM to 6PM. Counseling is available to those wishing assistance.

Transportation Services - AdLib's Transportation Services Program helps consumers move towards greater independence in mobility and living. Components of the Program include:

Education and training in using public transportation.

Assistance in applying for subsidized transportation programs.

Access to AdLib's accessible Van and no cost taxi vouchers for qualified consumers.

Professional transportation trainings for transit providers, consumers and the general public.
