Emily Oboyle, RN

Emily Oboyle
Nurse
Background:

I started my nursing career at Maria College. My life as a nurse has centered on providing advocacy for people while encouraging their highest level of independence.

How did you get involved in the Independent Living Movement?

As a child, my Nana was a caregiver for two individuals who were very much a part of our family. It comes naturally to desire to be a part of creating a support system in our neighborhood. I feel lucky to be able to be involved in such a program.

Fun Fact:
  • I am a diehard Patriots fan
  • I can sing the alphabet backwards
  • Cooking is my happy place, I love trying a new spin on an old recipe
Something that may surprise you about me:

I am a crazy plant lady! I have over 20 plants in my house at the moment.
