Background:

I have been in the human service field for 25+ years. I have always wanted all people to have independence and quality of life, as well as longevity. I have two disabled children that reinforced my goals to help people with disabilities and others to overcome barriers/obstacles that prevent them from obtaining a life of independence, happiness, and healthy well-being.

How did you get involved in the Independent Living Movement?

My previous experiences led me to AdLib to help others in need, advocating, and providing services for those who need it. My experience ranges from being a PCA, helping the elderly, and the disabled, and working with alcohol/drug addictions; to specializing in counseling.

Fun Fact:
  • I love to do creative cooking and make my own recipes.
  • I am an avid reader
  • I love to do 3D interior wall art
Something that may surprise you about me:

I wanted to be a detective in the Forensics unit of the FBI.
