Sarah Jolicoeur, RN

Nurse
Background:

I have been a nurse since 2010, starting as an LPN then completing my RN in 2018. My career started in long term care then moved on to the hospital and eventually case management. I have never wanted to do anything other than nursing and I continue to find joy in my career every day. I feel I have found my niche in home care and enjoy helping people stay in their homes.

How did you get involved in the Independent Living Movement?

Both of my per diem positions as well as my full time position all center around the goal of helping and keeping people safe in their homes.

Fun Fact:
  • I love yoga and fall is my favorite season. I love to hunt down a good cup of hot cider.
  • I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and one step son.
  • We are building our forever home in Becket and can’t wait to move in!
  • We have a 16-year-old chihuahua who is so spoiled and loved.
Something that may surprise you about me:

My youngest daughter is a part of AdLib as a consumer, which is how I initially heard about the program. I knew I wanted to give back and help AdLib the way they have helped my family, and am so happy to have been given the opportunity to do so.
